I am very fortunate to have a small but very prolific huckleberry bush about 175 ft from my driveway. I don't make jam with these berrries, just freeze them to have on cereal during the winter. They are a great reminder of the good weather, when it's ugly outside!

Winers here are very survivable, quite unlike Sask, and Alberta.

I have never seen such big berries as I got this year. Maybe it's because I only got a few dozen berries last yeat. I really don't know, but, I'm not complaining!

Blackberries turned out awsome!!!!! They didtake close to 48 hours to dry as some were soooo big.

Thank you Adagio for the great advice. I have 4 trays of blackberries drying right now. Most of them are humongous! They will take some time to dry, but I am patient. There will be more coming, as they seem to like our hot days and cool nights.
