Well I'm negative 1 finger tip for the week courtesy of a meat slicer, which is really gonna put a strain on gardening and working. Luckily I have insurance through work, so most of my wages will be covered. Time to read all the books I've been buying!

I'm just getting started with my preps. This week I've added seven tins of canned food, mainly Campbell's Chunky soups, Stagg chili and beans.

My preps aren't aimed at creating a vast stash of backup supplies, just 14 days of food and water if a disaster or other major event forces me to shelter-in-place, or causes disruptions to the food supply chain.

This weekend I'll head out to buy a few flats of bottled water. Slow and steady wins the race.

Five cords of hardwood firewood, ready to burn. Also bought 2 cases (48 tins) of tuna ($1 at Walmart) - I don't want to be eating ANYTHING from the ocean if North Korea delivers any missiles! I'll add more in the next few weeks. Also bought a half dozen jars of Peanut Butter (Kraft on sale for $2.88 at Food Basics) to add to my PB stash.
