It is called Easter cheese because it is always made for EASTER in East Europien countries. You can not store it just keep in fridge and consume in few days.
Since it is Easter we just made it. The only different is that we use only milk, eggs and salt, so the process is slightly different. Very simple.
It is real delicatessen, my grandchildren love it.

Picked up a few good items recently:
Leatherman Juice S2 - will become my EDC knife and multi-tool
2X Decent capacity water resistant USB battery packs with loop to carry via carabineer or cord.
A Smallish USB rechargeable Digital Radio with Speaker
More added to the canned food store - chicken, tuna, salmon, soups, ready meals
5 Extension audio cables for headphones or portable speakers
A magnifying phone holder - put smartphone or my tiny tv on it and watch through a lens.

Cleared some more out of the cupboards and gave my young nephew some of my WWE collectables.
Still working the weight loss/ better health / cancer recovery plan

upgraded our little hybrid camper for a light-weight toyhauler (new to us). More room for us and dogs and supplies.

I figure it is great right now for camping and hunting and if the depression actually comes, we have a mobile home now if we need it.

So, I did get a utility trailer. It will serve to move some stuff back to Canada and, maybe one day, may see some basic conversions to a BOT.

Found surplus metal 50BMG ammo cans in excellent conditions and grabbed 5 for $40.

Received my radios but won't have time to set them up for a while.

Dropped a big mountain ash in my backyard and made way for a 16X8 Vegetable garden. Veggies are already planted, just need to get them in the ground.

busy few weeks...
We brought home a 24' toy hauler (new to us) in basically brand new shape, bought from friends who used it only 4x. With the state of the current AB economy, it was a steal of a deal!
Since we don't own any toys and will only be transporting ourselves, dogs and bicycles, we figure it will hold a lot more supplies than our little hybrid tent trailer did. The hybrid took under 16 hours to sell and that money went directly towards the new purchase.

We also figure that if times get really bad and people start losing their homes, we can always uproot and take to the road. Traveling wherever there is work to be found. If the world doesn't end, we have a great tool for recreation and hunting for years to come. We have a generator but are now saving up for the heavy duty solar panels.

The dear missus planted the root vegetables this past week as the weather has been incredible out here. The tomatoes and herbs will wait until the May Long Weekend before moving outside of course.

We both also signed up for a 3-gun clinic in May, which will be an opportunity to have fun and build confidence under dynamic situations. We already have IPSC Black Badges but they are rusty lol.
