Damn I didn't feel that one :? Bit far away I suspect.
I don't read papers or have a TV and that big one that hit Newcastle years ago I didn't hear about it for three weeks!
Yes yes I am a bit of a hermit I just need a bridge to live under :D

Yeah - funny thing that, Last two we had up our way were in the high 4's and low 5's and If your in a building, we felt it, as soon as we got outside - felt nothing. Only heard a rumbley distant sound like a heavy laden truck.

 I was talking to a lady the other day that was camping out west once and ducked in behind some trees for private business and heard a distant rumble, called out to her companions to ask what it was, was told it was probably just cattle. Next thing she knew she was lit up like on a stage and a freight train rumbled by...not enough time to get her knickers up so just smiled and waved to the driver. Bet she would have preferred that rumble to have been an earthquake :D

Damn...I've had something similar happen to me in the middle of a thunderstorm - out on training....pitch black, in the bush and can't go too far with the radio in case a fire mission is called, so I find the nearest bush and drop the strides....next minute it seems like the longest flash of lightning in history and I'm illuminated

Haha squat down once in the dark to discover I was atop a stinging nettle patch...glad there wasn't a train or lightening nearby, the sting was bad enough

I think us girls are just in a silly mood tonight :D
