I remember we were packing a NPWS job one night in the shed and our DS about 10 at the time wandered down to the house, when he got near the house he started dancing about like a loon...of course we didn't think this was unusual ;)
But then there was a pile of screaming out of both kids so figured we had best investigate...they yelled that there was a snake and DS was certain it was a tiger snake! Odd at night time to be sure of ID so I asked him what made him think it was a tiger snake..."Well it had stripes on it" hmmmm yep we found it and it was only a Bandy Bandy :D

i just like it when the snakes stay away from me......my snake shovel is taller than I am so it gives me really good reach to whop 'em if I have to.
