What's Better Than A Free Lifestraw?

Postby Denob » Fri Oct 17, 2014 1:45 pm

How about 2 free lifestraws!!!
Yes, thanks to our revamped Sponsored Post Program on the blog, we have 2 lifestraws to be sent free of charge to one lucky winner, thanks to one of our sponsors, Briden Solutions.

If you want to be eligible for the drawing, you must meet our regular requirements...
1 - Have a Canadian postal address to send the prize to.
2 - Be a member in good standing (no active warnings)

Here is how we are going to do this one...let's start an actual conversation here.
Reply in this thread and tell everyone what you would do with your lifestraws.
One for the BOB and one for the BOL?
Keep one as a spare?
Give one to a friend or loved on?

The contest will run until October 31, 2014 and the draw will be done by random draw from participants on November 1st.
Good luck.

I would put the portable Lifestraw in my BOB and the Family one in my storage room for higher volume filtering needs.

Me and my son already have one in our BOB's, so I would put one in my wife's and one in my daughters.

I would put one in the get home bag in the car and one in my BOB.

My car kit needs a good portable filter, chemically treated water tastes horrible.
The second would be a great addition to my hunting kit.
Due to the weight the last thing you want to drag around is extra water when you're walking for miles.

I agree, a Life Straw would be a great addition to keep in the go bags in each vehicle in addition to a water bottle .

We already have water filters in the BOL, BOB, GHB, etc.

So...I'd probably pay it forward and give them to our little guys Cub Scout Group to hand out as a special reward or they could use for teaching purposes when it comes to camping/survival lesssons. The cub scout leaders are pretty smart, and would love the idea!

If I got/won one, I would put it in my BOB and that goes into the vehicle...which is also my BOV.
I would like to see the 2nd one go in a draw, to someone else that may be in need of one.

P.S.
Folks, if ya have not changed over to winter time BOBs, there's no time like the present to do so. Ma Nature has a freaky sense of timing/humor.

Hard to be original in this post. One for the BOV and one for the BOB. They are a nice as an addition to the water purification options.
