Hinterland, the Kootenays are incredible and offer a wide variety of options for settling down. From forests to fields and towering mountains in between.

Hey CanCricket, I go there often for work. It's a very nice little city once you get off the main highway. Lots of helpful working class people despite what a previous poster stated. I totally disagree with you guys about Creston's location to America. Northern Idaho is full of fantastic people and I Enjoy spending time there. if anything they could prove to be an asset to the valley as Canada continues to go down the tubes. Geographically there's a stronger connection to Bonner...

Hey I don't head up to the Cariboo often but wanted to say hi and wish you all luck. Been homesteading in the Kootenays for a couple years. Chickens, pigs, bees and gardening so far. Also recently into hunting and sport shooting. Anyway good luck and God bless.
