Re: Great Water Solution for Well

I'm so glad I came across this post. I've been wondering for a bit about how to add a manual pump to my system.

I do as well have two open wells on my property too. I just need to build a roof over it yet and put a hand pump on it as well.

Re: Newbie Question

Ya very true. Best to have a way to melt it. Preferably if it's a winter scenario, a way to make the water hot. I keep a couple tea bags in my truck too. Keep the chill off better that way ;)

Re: I use this Emergency Preparedness App...Anyone Else Have Some Good Ones?

Hey Crownsown, I use one similar. It's the Red Cross Ready app. Though it's only natural disaster notifications. I also keep the Red Cross first aid app. For my preps (as well as my household goods) I use the Encircle app. Normally it's to keep records of my possessions, but I made 'Preppers Pantry'...

Re: looking for a diesel mechanic

Hey Peppercorn, ya thats almost spot on. I have primed the pump, and cracked one of the injector lines, but I'm not getting anything too the line. I assume that the timing was left intact from when I removed the pump, as there's only one way it can go on b / c of a key way. I am however actually not...

Re: labour and work trade

Oh, and as always, I'm happy to trade money for my small selection of supplies at westshieldoutpost.ca ;)

I'm looking to get into consulting as a part of West Shield. Perhaps you'd like to be a test Subject for my consultation for preparedness?

labour and work trade

I've alwasy liked the idea of trading work. Though my skills are not alwasy as needed as say an electrician. But I can offer my semi truck for trade.
Perhaps if you need to move, or a load of gravel? I can do that. Anyone else got any interesting trade ideas?

looking for a diesel mechanic

Hey, anyone here happen to be a Deisel mechanic familiar with John deere Deisel tractors? I love to be able to trade work or farm benefits if one can get my 72' deere running before summer. I drive semi trucks so I can trade for that perhaps too. But my fuel injector pump busted on me. So I took it ...
