I know my auntie's friend just bought land between Nelson and Castlegar..There was an old farmhouse on the property.

I know the area well.. Ultar conservative city.. best bet is to get closer to Nelson b.c. The land is cheaper and a little more light haearted hard working people.. I am not quite ready to make a decision yet as to what maybe more practical or better to cook with, but I am now better informed. I have to say I love my cast iron cookware and I am definitely not ready to give them up. However...

So I have been scouring this site trying to find a good book or website I can print out about herbal/natural medicines and their uses. It would be good to have with my supply binder so that God forbid shtf and we need to go back to the forest for this. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything extremel...
