Is The COVID Response Shuttering The Economy Worth It?

The question has been asked. Perhaps more so in the USA and Brazil as restrictions were largely set aside compared to other countries. But is it worth it? Re: Is It Over Yet?

The province of Ontario is watching closely. As rates drop, so do the restrictions. The general consensus is that "if" a second wave comes it will be at least partially tied to the return to school in September. I suppose its a monitor, stay vigilant and wait and see what happens. My personal opinio...

Re: No shortages?

Aside from items held up due to plant shutdowns that are more/less specialized (RTU's, etc.) most consumer goods are now back to normal in SW Ontario. You still can't get n95's, but pretty much everything else is stocked and on shelves. From Dollar stores, to grocery stores.

Re: Are you prepping for the coronavirus?

Real Estate is down in many areas but from what I'm hearing (anecdotally of course, and only in my region of Ontario) is it will be short l...

Re: Pandemic Spending

We didn't get CERB either. But our spending habits changed drastically. We've become exceptionally good at shopping...only venturing to the grovery stores every 3 weeks. We are not spending any money on restaurants, stores, frivolous items in retail....however....coincidentally....we've gotten a fre...

Re: Quality of life during the Pandemic.

Disruptive in working from home and selectively going into the office. Its tough to get into a rythem. It has freed up a significant amount of time though. Physical fitness training has almost doubled as "something to do." Unfortunately pools are closed which is a major kick in the rear. It has also...

CTV News Article: How to prepare a 'pandemic pantry' amid COVID-19

Re: homeopathic treatments

Crownsown, yep, no point in arguing. Let’s us know whether you think the people in the movie I recommended are flat earthers and lizard people. Be interesting to learn your opinion. I think that According to your math, they would be? Because there is no math or logic that the average scientist can ...
