Re: 2019-nCoV

Huh.. So I just saw a post from another friend that in a nut shell said, do not panic, stay home and you can not get the correct masks anywhere as they are sold out (and here is where it got interesting) "quote Due to the crazies, the preppers" that are buying things up so that the normal...

Re: Flooding (mitigation + safety tips)

Perhaps a representative willknow something that would explain your criticisms and you can understand how they approach things like this. Or maybe they will even validate them? Coronavirus - A Summary Of Authoritative Information To Protect and Prepare Yourself

I have to say, this is probably the most concise summary of information on the Corona virus I've seen and extremely helpful in filtering out the opinion, fake information and background noise and simply getting to the meat of the matter. A special thanks to Entropy from the board who prepared this ...

Re: What Did You Prep This Week

I did something different. I made some emergency kits. 4 in all in jan/feb. Basically bins, and prepared them each identical and provided them to people who have just gone through a power outage in the last couple weeks from inclement weather. They included candles, matches, lanterns, wind up flashl...

Putting all the arm chair expertise aside, the Coronavirus is a fraction of the concern that the flu is and to date seems to be a bit of an over reaction for the efforts allocated to it by the general public. I'm not saying be flippant, but the risk to date is negligible. https://www.livescience.com...
