Does anyone have any trade secrets as to where they source their stuff? Or how they store their stuff ie I've heard BOC can put nitrogen or something in your grain buckets to get rid of pests yet some people just add bay leaves etc in the grain, and some people freeze their grain confused as what to try as grain is so expensive I'd hate to muck it up - how do you do it?
Where do you buy your stuff in NZ
Re: Where do you buy your stuff in NZ
I've heard that to storage Grain and other dry foods in Plastic Buckets, is to Put Plastic bags in then Buckets then fill it with your Grain. Then vacuum the air out of them. Sealing it in until you need it.
I think the Americans use Mylar bags. No idea what they are called here.

Arthur Holmes has great jars, containers in glass and plastics at great prices. They retail as well as wholesale. Based in Wellington but they have a web presence: http://www.arthurholmes.co.nz/
